They Say I Say

Being a good writer requires to engage the reader by having a strong point to argue, and on top of that you need to prove your points. Now you can have a positive and negative sides of an argument. To me when I’m reading an essay seeing the positives and negatives of the argument makes it more interesting to see to what end point the writer is coming to. One of the advices that I read in the book said, when you’re writing ✩mention things that people has said and then respond to them. This way you’re coming to the reader from all directions and not leaving anything out. But this strategy may not always work on all text or essays. When you’re writing you don’t just come down with bunch details. You have to do an interdiction of your topic and slowly consume the audience with excitment to get their attention. Reading the different templates for introduction in the They Say I Say gave me ideas of how to start my introduction without giving so much off. You have to keep going back to your point of argument, and remind them that this is what you’re trying to prove.
