For my article choice I picked up an article that I thought was very interesting by David Dayen. The name of the article is How Our Justice System Led To a Sexual Harassment Crisis. Although now I have to prove that the article is accurate. To prove that the article is true we have to use the CRAAP test. CRAAP stands for C= currency: timeline of the information, R= Relevance: the importance of information for your needs, A= Authority: who is the author, A= Accuracy: where does the information comes from, P= Purpose: the reason the information exists. The article that I choice was published in 2018, the information does relates to the topic the article talks about how some people are not held accountable for there consequences because they are rich powerful so they do whatever they want. I searched the author of the article David Dayen, he wrote a books he’s also executive editor of The American Prospect. The article comes from Gale opposing viewpoints online collection. The purpose of the article its gain peoples attention toward sexual harassment crisis, and how people with power get away with stuff like that. The people that committed the harassment are losing their jobs but they are not being held accountable in court for their actions. Also people with more money tend to get out of it.
