I never had to annotate so much until I took English 110. For me annotation is time consummating because I give it all of my best. When I’m reading I really think of it deeply, and I write down my understanding of the paragraphs. The thing that is going to be helpful is to underline important sentence, or once you like, and also try to analyze each paragraph you read. That way when you come back to it, you don’t have to re-read the whole article again. Analyzing also helps with understand the text better, because once you understand it than it’s going to be easier to include it in your essay.
